Saferoots Family Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and culturally grounded transitional housing and support services to vulnerable families in New Brunswick.
We specialize in supporting abandoned and homeless women and children, as well as offering dignified care for older adults and seniors. Our programs combine secure shelter with comprehensive wrap-around supports—including trauma-informed counseling, life skills development, health services, and community integration—to help individuals rebuild their lives with stability and hope.
Rooted in anti-racism, equity, and decolonial care, we create nurturing environments where racialized and newcomer families feel seen, respected, and empowered. Whether it’s a mother escaping crisis with her children or an elder needing compassionate care, Saferoots serves as a safe haven and a foundation for healing. Our vision is a community where every woman, child, and senior can thrive in safety, dignity, and belonging.
